Cancellation & Refunds
This page is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to paid MailWarren plans bought through our website.
1. Cancelling
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time: open your Account page, choose Manage subscription, and cancel in the billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals. Unless you're refunded under section 2, your paid features continue until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then your account moves to the free plan. If you can't use the portal, email support@mailwarren.io and we'll cancel it for you.
2. Refund if you cancel before the first renewal
If you cancel a new paid subscription before its first renewal — that is, within the first billing period — we will refund what you paid for it, including any upgrade charged during that period. To request it, email support@mailwarren.io from your account email address before that first renewal date. When the refund is made your account moves to the free plan straight away.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank may take several business days to show it.
- We aim to reply to refund requests within 5 business days.
- This applies once per customer and subscription. It doesn't apply to a subscription you resubscribe to after cancelling, or where the account was suspended for breaching the Acceptable Use Policy.
3. After the first renewal
Once a subscription has renewed, amounts already paid for the current period are not refundable, and you keep access until the period ends. This doesn't limit your rights under section 5.
4. Other charges
- Plan changes. Upgrades and downgrades made in the billing portal are charged or credited pro rata as the portal shows before you confirm. Credits reduce your next invoice; they are not paid out as cash.
- Prepaid sending credit. Credit you add for sending email is not refundable, but it stays on your account until you use it.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan we'll give you at least 30 days' notice; you can cancel before it takes effect under section 2 or 3 as applicable.
- Enterprise and custom plans follow the terms of your written agreement with us.
5. Your rights under Australian law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing on this page limits them. If the service has a major failure, you are entitled to cancel and to a refund for the unused part of what you paid, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss. If you believe you're entitled to a remedy, email us with the details and we'll respond promptly.
6. Disputes about a charge
If a charge looks wrong, please email support@mailwarren.io before disputing it with your bank so we can fix it faster.
